Honoring those who passed away
Many couples today try to somehow include and honor someone close that has passed away. If you're one of those couples, you probably are trying to find a special way of doing that at your wedding.
Here are some ideas how to honor the deceased:
- A moment of silence dedicated to the deceased loved one(s).
- Lighting of a candle at the alter.
- A short poem read outloud during the ceremony.
- A short poem or expression of love in the programs.
- The bride or groom can wear something that belong to the deceased loved one.
- A private prayer.
- Putting a bouquet or rose on one of the seats or at the altar.
